“Nestled in Taos, the resort emphasizes wellness with an award-winning spa that smartly incorporates local traditions. The architecture, inspired by Pueblo tribal designs, creates a distinct sense of place, making it a solid base for exploring the artistic spirit of Taos and the outdoor adventures of the surrounding mountains. Dining seems inconsistent, but the setting and spa remain strong points.”
